Your Child Is in Great Hands

History

Bethania Preschool & After School Care began in 1987 at Bethania Lutheran Church to meet working families’ needs.

Our staff works with parents to meet each child’s cognitive, emotional, social, spiritual and physical development needs. We emphasize the growth of each child’s sense of self-confidence, wonder and self-worth.

Children participate in a chapel experience each week with a Religious Studies teacher and our pastor. It introduces students to Bible stories and songs as well as other ethical teachings.

Students practice caring for others not only in the classroom but by doing community and world-wide social service projects. These include a Halloween Parade at Atterdag Village and reading with its residents, art for people “needing a smile,” letters to our troops and Lights for Ghana.

Health & Safety

At Bethania Preschool & After School, we are deeply committed to upholding the highest standards of health and safety for all children in our care. Our dedicated staff members undergo regular training to implement comprehensive safety protocols that encompass every aspect of our facility, activities, and interactions.

We prioritize the well-being of each child by maintaining clean and sanitized environments, ensuring age-appropriate supervision at all times, and regularly inspecting our premises for potential hazards. Our commitment extends to promoting healthy habits, including proper hand-washing techniques and nutritious snack options, to support the overall well-being of our young learners.

Parents can rest assured knowing that we adhere to local regulations and guidelines while continually evaluating and improving our practices to provide a safe and nurturing environment. We believe that a secure setting is fundamental to fostering a positive learning experience and enabling children to explore, learn, and thrive with confidence.
